Golden
State Driving School offers a variety of services to fit your
needs. Whether you are just looking to brush up on your driving
skills or have never driven and feel that it's time you learned,
we can help. Our instructor's are patient and understanding of each
individuals needs. We have male and female instructors and we offer
bilingual instruction as well.
As
an added service, we offer training and evaluation to seniors who
have lost their license and need a letter to the safety division
in order to be retested.
For
individuals coming to the United States for the first time, we can
help you get familiar with the laws and driving practices here in
California. In order to take driving lessons you will need to obtain
a driving permit. This is done simply by taking the written exam
at your local DMV. Seniors who have their driving privilege revoked
must obtain a special permit from the safety division. California
does not recognize permits from out of state. You must get a California
permit. Once you have the permit we are just a phone call away.
We
will set up appointments for you and the instructor will pick you
up at home, or work. The appointments are 2 hours each and we arrange
them to suit your needs. Should you need to cancel an appointment,
please do so 48 hours in advance. Our instructors need that time
to rebook the appointment time. Otherwise they are losing valuable
time and money. A cancellation fee of $50 will be charged if the
first lesson is cancelled without notice. After the first lesson,
cancellations without notice will mean forfeiting the lesson. PLEASE
do not cancel without reasonable notice!!
The
following is a list of introductory prices for adult training:

$85.00
1 lesson & Test---

ing the amount of time allowed to complete the behind the wheel, they must be completed within 8 months of your first appointment. Therefore you have 8 months from your first appointment to complete your last appointment.
